Fraser Island backpackers have voted with their feet and with their typing fingers to help deliver Cool Dingo Tours a 2014 Certificate of Excellence from the world’s largest travel site, Trip Advisor.
General Manager of Tours and Marine, Colin Anderson, said the Cool Dingo Tours were primarily aimed at the 18-35 backpacker market and this result was a vote of confidence in the Cool Dingo product and World Heritage-listed Fraser Island as a desirable backpacker destination.
“We actively encouraged our guests to share their trip photos or tag themselves on social media and to post candid reviews about their time out on Fraser Island’s sand tracks,” he said. “So you could say we are over the moon to be awarded this Certificate of Excellence in service delivery for what is now the third year straight.”
“I’d like to thank our guests for consistently giving us fabulous marks and candid feedback to help us make improvements. And, of course, none of this would be possible without our tour guides – whose passion and enthusiasm for our product knows no bounds - and our behind-the-scenes team who quietly beaver away to help us deliver a five-star product.”
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, companies like Cool Dingo were required to increase the number of reviews on the site over a twelve month period and maintain an overall bubble rating of four or higher out of a possible five.
