Brazil launches international tourism campaign before World Cup 2014

With the magnanimous event FIFA World Cup 2014 knocking at the door, Brazil tis launching a global tourism campaign to escalate the soccer fever a bit more. The yet-to-be-launched campaign also intends to promote Brazil as something more than just a soccer hub.

In a press meet, Brazilian Minster of Tourism Vinicius Lages emphasized his goals of displaying the warmth of Brazilian people and attracting visitors after the event. “We have a unique brand of hospitality” in a country which can afford tourists the “visit of a lifetime”, said Tourism Minister Vinicius Lages.

According to reports, the campaign will utilize the World Cup and Summer Olympics 2016 in Rio as springboards to target tourists.
