Google+ ‘Stories’ set to inspire global travelers with online travelogues

Google, the technological giant introduces a new way to share travel experiences that will inspire global travelers. Google+, the social networking website, powered by Google is launching ‘Stories’, a unique feature that generates travelogues with the pictures and motion-pictures uploaded in a user’s Google+ profile. Indeed a unique effort!

Global travelers can share, inspire and preserve their memories as live travelogues on the web-space. The highlight of this new feature, ‘Stories’ will automatically categorize pictures and videos uploaded in a user’s account selecting the best pictures among all creating an online travelogue. The feature will select the most promising pictures understanding the geography of the pictures with the tags and generating the story with the date, time and other specifications.

‘Stories’ will also enable a user to add notes to pictures, add or remove them, view the travelogue in full screen and edit the travelogue automatically. It can also plug in relevant destination information and add visual maps to represent the path a traveler traversed during his trip.

Google+ is launching this particular feature in the web-version and android platform to begin with. It plans to launch in on the iOS platform soon. The automated travelogue will be in private mode until the user edits and makes it public.

Google has made its ‘Auto Awesome Movies‘ feature available for the web users. It was previously available only in certain Android phones. This innovative feature would automatically use the videos and pictures in Google+ account to create a video with background scores and interesting transitions. These features will surely increase traveler’s interest in sharing their experiences while traveling and in turn inspire other potential travelers to plan their future trips.
