The aim of this exceptional beauty pageant is to lay down a new record with the new Guinness Book of World Records as the first international beauty pageant with the biggest number of women participants as well as to uplift the global international tourism image of the Philippines.
Francisco “Direk Gareth” Z. Blanco Jr., Director of Miss Tourism World Philippines President and National Pageant, said, “The intention is really to help Filipino women joining these beauty pageants not only to win, but to find a stable career direction, get the proper employment they need while in competition.”
Candidates winning any of the pageant’s 10 coveted crowns entitles the winners to compete in international pageants.
The Preliminary screenings will be held on May 10, 1-4pm, Jackmann Plaza Mall, Munoz, Quezon City, while the pageant will be held in July at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
