Tourism Australia is constantly looking for opportunities to provide the best platforms for its tour operators and all those related to the tourism sector. The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE14), the tour operators will get a chance to showcase their products to 70 international and domestic media at the new event International Media Marketplace (IMM) organized by tourism Australia.
Held immediately prior to ATE, from 9 to 11 May 2014 in Palm Cove near Cairns, IMM will provide an opportunity for Australian operators to meet with broadcast, consumer and trade media as well as leading digital influencers from around the world.
The IMM program will involve a series of one-on-one appointments, networking sessions, workshops and events. Run on behalf of Tourism Australia by TravMedia, IMM also features the option to learn new social media skills by attending a travel-focused New Media Workshop.
The IMM format has been introduced to ATE to provide a singularly focused program for Australian tourism product and travel PR representatives, alongside the state and territory tourism organisations, to connect with media from around the world. You can visit their website for further details.
