Malaysia’s capital city Kuala Lumpur has launched a KL Horse and Carriage Ride.
Tourists can experience a tour round the city in a 20 minute ride along certain Heritage routes in the centre of the city around Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square).
The new attraction under Visit Malaysia Year 2014 was launched Thursday during the Chinese New Year Cultural Festival at Dataran Merdeka.
The carriage ride tour will begin on March 15 with rides in the morning and afternoon. Tickets for the ride are price at RM50 fo adults, RM25 for children and RM200 for the whole carriage and can be purchased at the KL City Gallery counter.
Seventeen “Friesan” horses were specially imported from Belgium and the carriages are specially imported from Istanbul, Turkey. (US$1 = RM approx 3.29)
