In late 2023, Global DMC Partners unveiled the top 10 international conference and incentive travel destinations in the 2023 Global Destination Index. Unfortunately, no Chinese cities made the list. Given that the MICE industry has consistently been an important gauge of economic vitality, this forum will discuss how governments, as the highest administrative organisation overseeing the local business meeting and incentive industry, can effectively utilise their power and control over resources related to MICE industry. With today's economic uncertainty, topics such as how to market business incentive travel destinations and how to ensure the sustainable development of the business incentive activities industry should be critical areas of focus for governments.KEYNOTE SPEAKER
