From late- January to February, north of Iiyama City, 20 charming Kamakura huts are created out of snow. 

Make reservations and indulge in the regional speciality of noroshi nabe, a miso-based hot pot filled with local vegetables. 

Don't miss out on the Kamakura Festival in February for live music, mochi pounding, snow activities, and a dazzling fireworks display! 

 You can access Kamakura Village by a 12 min bus ride from the Shinano-daira bus stop at Iiyama Station.
