Places to stay in Montenegro

Mamula Island Hotel 
The small Balkan country of Montenegro offers mountains, medieval villages and a strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. 

The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. 

The Durmitor National Park, home to bears and wolves, has limestone peaks, glacial lakes and 1,300m-deep Tara River Canyon. 

Mamula Island Hotel 

The newly opened Mamula Island Hotel is a restored 19th century fort located in Montenegro’s Boka Bay. The Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Adriatic Sea.

Swissôtel Kolašin

Rixos 

Rixos
French hospitality group Accor and its Spanish partner Iberostar will open Rixos, a five-star hotel, in Sutomore, in Southern Montenegro in summer 2024. 

Ritz Carlton Montenegro 

A 120 room Ritz-Carlton Montenegro is expected to open in 2024 on the western tip of the Lustica Peninsula, some 30 minutes from Tivat International airport, and two hours from Dubrovnik International. www.ritzcarlton.com
