Queensland Tourism Week is almost upon us. It's the three leading industry events in our state which works to build a strong future for tourism in Queensland. This year's events are held at the freshly expanded Cairns Convention Centre.
Destination IQ, 22 November - Brings together all sectors of the community to discuss and showcase the year that was, and the future for First Nations tourism.
DestinationQ, 23 November - The annual DestinationQ Forum is Queensland’s leading tourism industry event and is staged at no cost for industry members to attend. Bringing together government and industry leaders to consider the future of the industry, discuss key tourism and events issues, and prioritise to keep Queensland competitive as a destination..
Queensland Tourism Awards, 24 November - The industry's night of nights, the awards are announced at a glittering black tie gala ceremony on the final evening of Queensland Tourism Week.
The DestinationQ Forum is delivered by the Queensland Government, through the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport and Tourism and Events Queensland, partnering with the industry through the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC).
