Discover one of the world's most significant contemporary painters to emerge in the 20th century, Emily Kam Kngwarray, at the National Gallery of Australia from 2 December until 28 April 2024. See Kngwarry's most important works of her oeuvre, from early vibrant batiks and sculptures to her later monumental paintings on canvas; there will be many never-before-seen works.

Step into the National Portrait Gallery to discover the Art Gallery of NSW's touring exhibition Archie 100: A Century of The Archibald Prize. This major exhibition celebrates 100 years of Australia's oldest and most-loved portrait award, reflecting upon our nation's changing face . It's currently on display in Canberra until 28 January 2024, so be sure not to miss it.

Immerse yourself in the history and culture of ancient Egypt in this must-see exhibition from the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities in the National Museum of Australia's Discovering Ancient Egypt exhibition. Journey to the land of the pyramids to discover the wonders of ancient Egypt featuring 200 objects, on show from 15 December 2023 until 8 September 2024.
