Luxury hotel group Savoy Signature will open The Reserve on the Portuguese island of Madeira in January 2024.

The new hotel, which will join the groups the 5* Savoy Palace, will have 40 rooms taking the top floor of Savoy Palace and selected rooms from the 8th floor upwards. 

The Reserve will offer guests full access to the facilities of Savoy Palace, along with exclusive services, such as a rooftop pool. 

The Portuguese archipelago of Madeira, in the Atlantic Ocean, embraces the islands Madeira, Porto Santo and the Desertas, a chain of three long and narrow islands. 

Madeira is known for its namesake wine and a warm, subtropical climate. 

main island of Madeira is volcanic, green and rugged, with high cliffs, pebbly beaches and settlements on deltas of the Fajã River. 

Its capital Funchal has botanic gardens and is known for its harbour.
