Quang Binh Province: Launching Bang Onsen Spa and Resort

Bang Onsen Spa and Resort was launched in Kim Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province on 14th August 2023. This site was developed by Truong Thinh Group and based on a natural hot mineral spring with the highest record boiling temperature in Vietnam (105 degrees Celsius).

The first phrase of project was put into operation with Bang Village (Onsen 1), An Bai Village (Onsen 2) and Cay Bong Village (Onsen 3), 92 rooms, 2 restaurants, convention center and water park.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam - Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Bang Onsen Spa and Resort is a key project of the province. The project is expected to "push" tourism development in the southwest of Quang Binh.

According to the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, Bang mineral springs and Dong Chau - Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve are precious natural resources. It is also connected to other cultural historical destinations in Le Thuy District such as Hoang Phuc pagoda, the memorial house of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the tomb of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh (Marquis in 17th century).

It is also important that this new tourism product also contributes to solving the seasonality of Quang Binh tourism, especially in winter. The project also creates jobs for 100 local people who are Bru Van Kieu ethnic group.
