Tsutsujigaoka Park in Tatebayashi City |
The azaleas in the park are known to be around 800 years old and among them, the Space Azaleas are especially popular as they were sprouted from seeds that Japanese astronaut Chiaki Mukai brought into space.
As a prominent spot for viewing azaleas, the park attracts as many as 100,000 visitors each year!
