Eurovision Song Contest 2021 - Rotterdam Ahoy
Broadcaster UA:PBC has named the 27 participants on the long list of potential acts hoping for a place in ‘Vidbir’, Ukraine’s national selection show that will determine their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The list will be narrowed down to 8 finalists and revealed next week.

Yaroslav Lodygin, member of the Managing Board of UA:PBC, revealed:

‘Because of the COVID-19 pandemic the national selection has not been held since 2020. Over this time, Ukrainian musicians have obviously accumulated energy and materials, so the number of good applications was very big! Still, there have not been many arguments among the organizing committee members up to this point, and the long list was formed quite quickly. The fight is for the 8 positions in the final, so the hottest arguments are ahead!’

UA: PBC received a total of 284 applications.
