Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama Japan

At Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama, kids can fish for their own lunch at the Umi Farm zone which is focused on oceanic education at sea.

Children can learn about the marine ecosystem and get hands on with the creatures – like the mussels, seaweed, and plankton – that inhabit the Tokyo Bay, while a Submarine Research vessel allows them to go underwater to observe the local fish population.

It’s a great way to learn about the cycle of life that revolves around Japanese’s main staple: seafood.
