The Graythwaite Estate Holiday Cottages is a family-owned estate comprising 21 cottages either on the shoreline or a short stroll from Lake Windermere.

The estate also offers exclusive access to over 500 acres of Lake District countryside.

The venture launched in 1989 on land previously used for farming and with many empty buildings on the estate.

These have been used to create the holiday cottages that sleep two to 12 guests. Outdoor activities include fishing and water sports on the lake, hiking and dog walking, archery, clay pigeon shooting and 4x4 off-road driving.
