OPERA AUSTRALIA REVEALS LA BOHEME

Snow falling on Sydney Harbour is just one of the details revealed this week about Opera Australia’s upcoming production of Puccini’s La Bohème for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour.

Set in a wintry Paris, the stage will display cobbled laneways, glowing street lamps and a cast dressed in classically bohemian costumes.

Described as one of the best outdoor opera events in the world, Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour has attracted more than 250,000 attendees from around Australia and overseas, in the last six years.

The custom-built site, overlooking Farm Cove, has dining and drinking venues that make the most of the magnificent harbour views and nightly fireworks.

Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour has been secured by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

See the production from 23 March to 22 April 2018.

Tickets from $99 are available from opera.org.au
