EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW & SITE VISIT AT MOVIE ANIMATION PARK STUDIOS

“An exhilarating preview we have been looking forward to!” – a general consensus by the invited guests at the recent exclusive preview of Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS), on 25th August 2016.

Attended by the Menteri Besar of Perak Darul Ridzuan, YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abd. Kadir, head of state government agencies, MAPS board of directors and key stakeholders, the team behind Asia’s first animation theme park showcased a glimpse of the exciting line-ups of MAPS shows and entertainment prior to its targeted opening in June this year.

“The exclusive preview was put together specially for all our honourable stakeholders, in appreciation for their unwavering support towards MAPS since its inception,” said Encik Jamal Mohd Aris, Managing Director of MAPS.

The show and entertainment team introduced an hour-long medley of stunning performances, including a sneak peek of the Megamind Rocks! musical, a fun and interactive session with MAPS iTV ‘live’, a broadcast with popular animated character appearances from the various themed zones.

The excitement was kept all time high as guests were ushered to view South-East Asia’s first car & bike ‘live’ stunt show – Stunt Legends. Championed by local talents, performers entertained guests with thrilling car and bike ‘live’ stunts. The performers also shared what it takes to be a stunt performer – physical fitness, mental discipline and endurance that wowed the crowd.

Finally, guests were given a special guided tour of MAPS on-site progress. Among the key highlights were Animation Square, Dream Zone and Fantasy Forest Zone, featuring unique themed facades, attractions and rides. Many guests were fascinated with the rare opportunity to explore some of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ park experience.

MAPS has accelerated all efforts and momentum in preparing for its target opening in June 2017 as part of Visit Perak Year 2017.
