There's No Better Time to Do the NT!

With the dry season and cooler temperatures fast approaching, there's no better time to do the Northern Territory. The change in seasons sees the full reopening of Top End National Parks, including Kakadu, and a range of new products and experiences on offer across the Territory.

Uluru Camel Cup

Locals and visitors alike come together for a big weekend of true Aussie activity atCamel Cup. Think camel races and outback style 'Fashion's on the Field'. The red sand provides the perfect backdrop for this award winning festival. The event is held from 27-28 May.

Barunga Festival

The Barunga Festival is one of the Territory's longest running Indigenous events, showcasing a range of contemporary Indigenous musicians, cultural activities and workshops. The festival is held in a remote community near Katherine, from 10-12 June.

Wide Open Space Festival

Discover a colourful marketplace with tasty treats, handmade crafts, clothing from local designers and an eclectic mix of entertainment. Held an hour's drive from Alice Springs, Wide Open Space Festival celebrates the beauty of the Red Centre landscape.

New Products

Dreamtime Escarpment Tents at Kings Creek Station

Kings Creek Station have developed their first luxury glamping site, Kings Canyon Dreamtime Retreat, including three exclusive safari tents. The new accommodation is nestled in the rocky face of Dreamtime Escarpment, deep within the outback station. The product is scheduled to be market ready in April.

Spirit of Kakadu Tours

Kakadu's adventure operator, Spirit of Kakadu Tours, invites travellers to walk in the footsteps of Crocodile Dundee in celebration of the movie's 30th anniversary. Off-road 4WD tours will be available from June to October taking in attractions featured in the movie including Gunlom, Ubirr and Nourlangie.

Kangaroo Sanctuary

The world famous Kangaroo Sanctuary near Alice Springs will be expanded to include a new 'camel education and experience'. The sanctuary currently provides a guided sunset tour educating visitors about wildlife care and rescue. The new camel enclosure will appear on season 3 of Kangaroo Dundee.

Tinkerbee Art Workshop

Explore indigenous storytelling through art with Tinkerbee Workshops at Chifley Alice Springs Resort. Travellers can create their own art piece with Arrente artist Kumalie Riley and learn the meanings of symbols in Central Australia. Tinkerbee offers 90-minute work shops throughout the week.

Sage Resort Darwin

Sage Resort Darwin overlooks Lee Point coastal reserve, through which a short walk will take you to one of Australia's prettiest beaches. Safari-style tents for Cooinda

Cooinda Camping Ground is introducing new safari-style tents complete with comfortable bedding and facilities. Up to 40 tents are scheduled for availability from June through to October. Designed for the warm climate, the tents will blend in perfectly with the Kakadu campgrounds, taking advantage of the lush surroundings.
