Over 50 Queenstown locals and 60 Sunrise visitors from Australia braved the morning chill to watch New Zealand music and dance sensations Stan Walker, Ginny Blackmore perform live at Lake Wakatipu in front of the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside hotel.
Sunrise – Australia's number one TV breakfast program – is in Queenstown broadcasting live from the resort over two days, which also coincides with the launch of the 40th anniversary of the American Express Queenstown Winter Festival which starts tomorrow.
Kiwi music stars Stan Walker and Ginny Blackmore performed their new single 'Holding You' for excited fans, with the song already topping chats around the country.
The live performance was broadcast into the homes of Sunrise viewers across Australia, with more to come from Sunrise tomorrow (Friday 20 June) as they film dance group Justice Crew and New Zealand Grammy Award winner Lorde from Coronet Peak.

The celebrations are set to continue tonight with Novotel hosting an exclusive dinner with dancing and trivia for the Sunrise viewers, TV hosts David Koch, Samantha Armytage, Mark Beretta, Natalie Barr, Edwina Bartholomew and Tourism New Zealand.
During their Queenstown visit, Sunrise viewers will also visit the remote Skippers Canyon, enjoy a signature lunch at Amisfield Winery & Bistro overlooking Lake Hayes and sip cocktails surrounded by over 18 tonnes of ice architecture at Minus 5 ICEBAR.
The Queenstown Winter Festival kicks off on Friday night from 5.30pm with all the activities including local music, food stalls and fireworks just a short walk from Novotel Queenstown Lakeside in Earnslaw Park.
