Ghost Train Cast & in Rehearsal

Following the huge success of Chicago, the Highlands Theatre Group have held auditions for their next production and are now hard at work rehearsing for their July/August play – The Ghost Train. Congratulations go to those successful auditionees below:

Samuel Mills as Teddy Deakin
Alan Dunk as Richard Winthrop
Tyler Cross as Charles Murdock
Pat Powell as Saul Hodgkin
Nelson Geer as John Sterling
Jim Cheesley as Herbert Price
Kathryn Whitelaw as Miss Bourne
Kate Davidson as Elsie Winthrop
Emma Llewelyn as Peggy Murdock
Tiana Hope as Julia Price

Continuing the tradition of providing patrons with quality entertainment and a variety of genres, this next production, written by William Arnold Ridley, (better known as Private Charles Godfrey from the British sitcom – Dad’s Army) is more in the vein of an Agatha Christie play, notwithstanding a side serving of laughs. This play also offers up a treat for the senses with a very full sound effects menu, immersing the audience in the eerie night-time setting of an empty haunted railway station.

The Ghost Train is a theatre mystery thriller and a great play to put on in the middle of winter!  It follows a small group of diverse travellers stranded at a remote railway station on a howling stormy night.  When the station master warns of death to anyone who sets eyes on the ghostly train that haunts the line the news is received with mixed responses and what unfolds is classic edge-of-your-seat suspense!

Tickets go on sale soon so stay tuned for the updates but make sure to keep a spot in your diary free for The Ghost Train, opening July 18th and running until August 2nd.

Looking Forward To Seeing You Then
