The International Football Associations (FIFA) has got some three million requests for tickets for the Soccer World Cup Brazil 2014, it was announced by FIFA.At least 700,000 orders have come from fans abroad, only six days before the second phase of sales is complete, said FIFA.
In case the number of orders exceeds those available tickets, FIFA will run an on-line draw in March, supervised by members of the Federal Bank and the Sports Ministry of Brazil.The fans can order tickets for all the games but the opening in Sao Paulo and the great final of Rio de Janeiro, and they will be notified by e-mail or SMS by March 11 whether their request was accepted.
The next ticket sale phase will start on March 12 and the requests and the fans are able to decide if they get their tickets delivered at home or by a messenger company.The website FIFA.com is the only ticket sale platform for the World Cup Brazil 2014. No other firm has been named for it, concluded FIFA.
