Famed for its Christmas celebrations, The Hotel Windsor will host a wealth of guests for events, including its highly sought Christmas inspired afternoon tea, Christmas Day lunch buffet and Christmas dinner.
Christmas Afternoon TeaIn celebration of the festive season, The Hotel Windsor has created a Christmas inspired afternoon tea which will commence on Monday, 21 November.
The delicious offering will include ribbon sandwiches filled with; maple glazed ham, watercress, apple and fennel chutney; turkey, brie and cranberry; and egg mayonnaise, cornichons, Dijon and dill, and specialty savoury canapés comprising of; Buxton smoked trout, beetroot crème and dill on a poppy seed bagel; and mushroom éclair of spiced chestnut and quince.
The pastry selection will also feature a festive twist, with favourites such as; Christmas Yule log with gingerbread sponge, chocolate ganache, red currant, Grand Marnier, and white chocolate mousse; Paris Brest, Cherry and basil with praline cream patisserie, cherry jam, with kirsch, fresh basil and cherry, almond frost; and Trifle of Christmas flavour with panettone, Armagnac soaked prune, orange mascarpone cream, spiced jelly and vanilla custard. On weekends, a selection of these will be available, complemented by an indulgent dessert buffet.

Christmas Day Lunch BuffetOn Christmas Day, The Hotel Windsor is inviting guests to enjoy the ultimate Christmas feast. With only a few tables still available, it is the place in Melbourne to celebrate with loved ones.
Held in the beautiful One Eleven Spring St restaurant, the sumptuous and ever-so-indulgent Christmas Lunch Buffet will serve the freshest selection of seafood, as well as a signature baked free range ham and roasted turkey breast from the carvery.
Diners will also indulge in dishes such as braised leg of spring lamb, roast potatoes and mint sauce; ocean trout, pickled beetroots, watercress, caviar crème fraicheand a complementing array of salads and vegetables. Dessert will hit the sweet spot, with the choice of 10 different options including Christmas chocolate Yule log;trifle of Christmas spice and stone fruits; The Hotel Windsor's fruit mince pies; and aselection of local and imported cheese and condiments.

Christmas Day DinnerThe exclusive One Eleven Christmas Day dinner will showcase Executive Chef Joel Alderson's modern Australian cuisine, with highlights including; house cured ocean trout 'ham', roasted grapes, macadamia and radish; slow cooked turkey leg, maple glazed pumpkin, seeds and nuts, roast turkey sauce with roast kestrel potatoes, lemon and sage; and the Windsor's traditional Christmas pudding with chestnut crème and brandy sauce. A vegetarian menu is also available.

Children: $125 per person (4-12 years); $215 (13-18 years), under 3 years free
