West Side Story on Sydney Harbour is now open, with rapturous reviews and surging ticket sales set to make this the most successful Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour event to date.
Having already broken box office records, West Side Story is the fastest selling show in the event's eight year history and has now been lauded as one of the best Harbour productions to date.
Opening to widespread critical acclaim, rapturous applause, standing ovations, and an unbeatable energy and vitality from both performers and audience alike on Opening Night, the buzz around West Side Story on Sydney Harbour continues to grow.
With only 22 performances left of the exclusive four-week season, and many performances already close to being sold out, West Side Story on Sydney Harbour has become the hottest ticket in town.
Opera Australia CEO Rory Jeffes is delighted with the success of the production.
