District Exhibits Excel at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

There are lots of things to see and do at the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show. One of the long-running highlights is the Districts Exhibits in the Fresh Food Dome.

Here people flock each day to view the large dioramas of fruit, vegetables, seeds and wool that each of the Districts in NSW takes many hours to prepare.

Judges have a hard time judging each Exhibit on its creativity and quality of produce on display.

South East Queensland Display

This year the long-running drought in NSW has taken its toll on the exhibits, with the Central District deciding not to take part in the competition. However, they still put on an admirable display.

On the last day of the show, the displays are dismantled and the produce sold with proceeds going to farmers. The produce that is not sold is given to Oz Harvest for distribution to the wider community.
