The Catalan Tourist Board Partners With Triip.me and TomoChain to Organise the First Blockchain Type-A Retreat in Europe

The Catalan Tourist Board is working together with Vietnam-based travel tech company Triip.me and Singapore-based blockchain platform TomoChain to organize the first Blockchain & Type-A Retreat from 11 - 14 April 2019.

This inaugural 4 days and 3 nights retreat will take place in Catalonia, the North-Eastern region of Spain, where the trendy capital of Barcelona is. The eight participants from Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia and Germany will experience a tailor-made itinerary that will showcase this beautiful land full of culture, architectural heritage and gastronomic delights, in addition to having discussions about cryptocurrency and blockchain.

True to the concept of Type A, participants can look forward to a productive half-day symposium with senior officers from the Catalan government and C-Level executives from Catalan Blockchain companies, together with the founders of Triip.me and TomoChain, for a knowledge sharing session. After this, the participants will discover the cultural landmarks in and around Barcelona city.

The Catalan Tourist Board values the opportunity to open doors to the future potential of Crypto-Tourism, with the rapid increase in the number of cryptocurrency users globally and more businesses around the world starting to accept cryptocurrency payments.

Hence, The Catalan Tourist Board, a body of the Government of Catalonia, is lending support to Triip's initiative of organizing this retreat and facilitating future collaboration in the Cryptocurrency process in Catalonia. In collaboration with TomoChain's blockchain solution, Triip allows for retreat participants to use cryptocurrencies like TOMO to book their spot.
