A dedicated week of celebrations will see the spotlight on the Gold Coast from 1-7 July, with the inaugural Gold Coast Tourism Week. The week will celebrate the city-wide impact of the tourism sector and the role it plays in the local economy.

With tourism representing 17% of our economy and supporting approximately 40,000 jobs, almost every part of the city is touched by tourism in some way. This special week-long celebration aims to embrace the significance of tourism to businesses and residents of the Gold Coast economically, culturally, socially and certainly historically.

Tourism Week threads together a series of events showcasing the best the sector has to offer and its impact across the city and beyond.
