The Great Barrier Reef Foundation has started work on how it will deliver projects to protect the future health of the Great Barrier Reef. Earlier this year the Federal Government pledged $443.3 million, while in this week's budget the State Government committed $330 million over five years, to support the delivery of key actions under the Reef 2050 Plan.
In the coming months, the Foundation will work closely with Queensland's Environment Department, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and reef stakeholders to map out a plan to ensure the investment is delivered effectively. Register your interest with the Foundation to stay up-to-date.
