Kumamon Is Coming to Nagashima Nabana no Sato!

The annual Nabana no Sato Illumination is Japan's biggest light-up event, and this year the event's special-theme area is dedicated to the prefecture of Kumamoto. That's why Kumamon himself -- the prefecture's funny and adorable mascot character -- is making an appearance there!

The main stage features vividly realistic LED light re-creations of Kumamoto Castle, Nabegataki, and other famous Kumamoto destinations. This is right where Kumamon shows up, and it's really a sight to see! Enjoy the fantastic show!

Nabana no Sato also boasts the Tunnel of Light, the Water Illumination, and other popular annual attractions. To get the full experience of winter in Japan, don't miss visiting Nabana no Sato!
