EAT LIKE AN INSIDER: YOUR GUIDE TO ANAHEIM'S TACO SCENE

Pour Vida
There are many great debates in this world. One such delectable discussion: hard shell or soft. However you prefer your tacos, there are tons of tasty offerings here in Anaheim. With Wednesday, October 4th being designated as National Taco Day, you’ll want to pull up a chair and a plate.

Celebrate National Taco Day, and every Taco Tuesday, with one of these flavorful options available in Anaheim.

Pour Vida

Housemade tortillas made from a secret recipe are filled with Latin flavor at Pour Vida. Your taste buds will also be treated to a fusion of handcrafted flavors. Try the Cheeseburger Taco or the Brussel Sprouts, with a hand-pressed juice or Caliente Margarita. Chef Jimmy says “Tacos are cheaper than therapy” and at Pour Vida, he’s right. Despite the upscale flavors, Pour Vida serves up a great assortment from the land, sea, and garden at reasonable prices.

House of Blues Anaheim

Add some soul and Southern flair to your tacos with one of House of Blues Anaheim’s unique taco offerings. Try the brisket in Texas BBQ Sauce or Cajun Shrimp. Vegetarians can turn up the taco heat with roasted chestnut mushrooms with corn, smoked jalapeno relish, and feta. While dining at the GardenWalk, enjoy the eclectic decor and musical entertainment.

Tortilla Jo’s

Just outside the Disneyland Resort, you’ll find a variety of street tacos in the festive restaurant-cantina Tortilla Jo’s within the Downtown Disney district. Choose a platter of three tacos filled with chicken, fish, carne asada, or carnitas. Want to make it feel like a fiesta? Try table-side guacamole and a selection from the expansive tequila bar. If you’re looking for something a little faster than a sit-down meal, try the outdoor cantina for made-to-order options.

Rancho del Zocalo

Looking for tacos inside the Magic Kingdom? Try Rancho del Zocalo for a trio of tacos with chicken, beef, or carnitas. Enjoy the outdoor atmosphere will people watching in Frontierland. For your little Mickey or Minnie, order chicken tacos off of the Kid’s Menu with rice and a side of fruit. Disney Tip: There’s a water fountain perfect for refilling reusable bottles on the patio.

Urbana

Award-winning Mexican gastronomy is mastered at Urbana Anaheim in the historic Packing House building. Urbana is a great destination for brunch tacos, but you won’t want to miss out on Tequila & Taco Tuesday. The hip, urban atmosphere makes for the perfect backdrop for Chicken Mole tacos with creama, queso fresco and pickled red onion.

Sweet Cup

Sweet Cup
Celebrate National Taco Day by honoring your sweet tooth. Try a rolled ice cream taco from Sweet Cup to end a day stuffed with flavor. Liquid ice cream is poured into sheets, mixed with toppings, and then rolled. In place of a tortilla, Sweet Cup serves their tacos in a waffle shell.

Whether you’re dining with friends or family, Anaheim is your destination for National Taco Day.
