SkiJapan.com has just released its 2017/18 Winter Holiday Packages brochure and it has a new home. After 25 years evolving at its former Northern Beaches home in Sydney it has relocated its entire team of Japan snow special consultants to a more central location in Neutral Bay.
Whilst it has a new location the focus on providing travel agent and consumer support hasn't changed. In fact for the forthcoming winter the team at SkiJapan.com can offer even more accommodation options than previous winters at resorts located on the popular island of Hokkaido and Japan's main island Honshu. Plus a Free snow equipment rental offer from its NBS outlet in Niseko inconjunction with every land package purchased. This offer is valid until June 30.
Another innovation, the Platinum Pro Guiding program that's very popular with its Niseko-based guests, has grown to offer skiers and boarders access to sessions with a certified and experienced guide. Exploring the resort's untracked side and backcountry terrain is one of the main reasons many Australians return to Niseko each winter. By expanding this program SkiJapan.com can now offer it to even more of its guests whilst they are located at Japans # 1 snow resort.
Whilst it isn't included in its just-released 2017/18 Winter Holiday Packages brochure there's an additional off-piste guided adventure at Appi, a winter resort on the northeast part of Honshu. The operators of this Snow Cat-style adventure (located about 30 minutes from Appi) claim they have the best snow quality in Japan. Whilst other Japanese resorts may dispute this claim there's one aspect of this new venture that cannot be denied! Powderhounds will be blown away by the location in the Hachimantai Backcountry Area that gets between 10-12 metres of snowfall each winter.
And if that’s not enough incentive to visit Appi, SkiJapan.com are giving away a limited number of free 5 day lift passes to celebrate the opening of a new 100,000m2 tree skiing powder area.
