DEEPWATER SCARECROW AND WOOL FESTIVAL - GLEN INNES

Deepwater Scarecrow and Wool Festival is a free family and community oriented event, held in mid-spring, where quirky scarecrows spring to life as do the plants and lambs, signalling an end to Deepwater's dormant, frosty, wintry months.

Visitors to the festival held annually at the Deepwater Oval can experience not only the scarecrow creations on the Scarecrow Trail throughout the village, but also award winning fine fleece and local history on display at the Deepwater Wool Show, Woolly Games for all the family including Wool Bale Rolling, Aussie Thong throwing contest, Great Baby Race contest, Decorated Bike Contest, live animals, Deepwater Dog Jump, live musical entertainment, dancing displays, markets, Monster Raffle, hay rides, and much more!

Big enough to count, small enough to care, friendly enough to share.
Come and experience the atmosphere of this friendly village.
