Orange and Sydney Harbour have taken prime position on the latest Australian Monopoly board, occupying the prestigious dark blue spots reserved for Mayfair and Park Lane in the original board game.
The two NSW locations beat out challengers including the Gold Coast, Whitsundays, the Barossa Valley and the Great Ocean Road to take the two best places on the board.
They were selected by public vote, which saw 35,000 Australian Monopoly players choose from 40 different areas around Australia in a nationwide online poll last November.
NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events Adam Marshall said he was pleased to see two NSW locations in the most desirable spots on the board.
"We're delighted our state has trumped the competition, which once again reaffirms NSW’s position as the number one place to live, work and enjoy," he said.
The new Australian Monopoly will be available for purchase later this year.
