LEURA HARVEST FESTIVAL

Learn how to become part of the quiet revolution slowing down the world, design a garden around bees, and find out how historic sites are joining the 21st century from expert speakers at this year’s Leura Harvest Festival, on Sunday 1 May 2016.

Presented by the Leura Village Association, this free annual event is designed for those who already live sustainably and individuals and communities wanting to explore natural lifestyle opportunities.

Now in its third year, the Leura Harvest Festival is dedicated to showcasing the outstanding produce, fine fare and innovative sustainability initiatives taking place in the Blue Mountains and wider region.

This community event features an inspired mix of market stalls set among the cherry trees on Leura Mall, along with talks by guest chefs and speakers, who discuss everything from food preserving to clean energy, permaculture, beekeeping and micro-farming.

Other highlights include regional wine and beer tastings, a local chook show, plus popular craft and cooking competitions.

If you have an interest in all things FRESH, REGIONAL & SUSTAINABLE, this festival is for you!

The festival will have more than 60 stalls with a strong focus on regional food and wine, along with competitions and the guest speakers program.
