The latest release vehicles and motorbikes from around the world will be on display at MotorWorld Sydney, a new five-day motoring festival at Sydney Motorsport Park in Western Sydney, secured by Destination NSW for three years from 2016.
Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport Stuart said, “This fantastic new event, secured exclusively for Western Sydney, is set to attract car enthusiasts from around Australia and the world to Sydney Motorsport Park at Eastern Creek,” Mr Ayres said.
“MotorWorld Sydney will be a live and interactive exhibition that will appeal to car enthusiasts, industry buyers and families. In the first three years, the event is expected to attract almost 28,000 domestic and international visitors, with a visitor spend of more than $15 million, providing an enormous boost to the Western Sydney visitor economy,” he said.
The inaugural event is scheduled for November 2016 and is set to be broadcast in part on free to air television.
