“Corroboree Sydney will showcase a diverse, vibrant program and will bring together activities, exhibitions and performances produced by some of our most significant Indigenous artists and institutions,” Mr Souris said.
The City of Sydney is also a partner of the Corroboree Festival and as part of its support, it will be hosting a public launch of its most recent Eora Journey artwork, born in darkness before dawn for Place Projections by Nicole Foreshew. This artwork will feature giant images of Aboriginal women draped in cloth projected onto the 20-metre façade of the Australian Museum to celebrate the importance of Sydney's Indigenous history and culture
On Tuesday 19 November at 7.00pm, the Lord Mayor, the artist and Hetti Perkins will turn on the projector for the first time to reveal the stunning imagery.
