Air Vanuatu is offering Australians travelling to Vanuatu the chance to add an outer island to their journey for less than AUD100 (including taxes) when they book return flights from Australia to Port Vila.
The limited time offer will save travellers more than 60 per cent on the usual return flight costs from Port Vila to the islands of Santo or Tanna, allowing them to extend holiday plans to include exciting activities like scuba-diving off Santo or climbing the live volcano, Mount Yasur in Tanna.
Anne Morris, Vanuatu Tourism Office’s Australian representative said the Island Hopper deal will make it easier for Australians to experience even more of the beautiful coastal scenery, culture and people around Vanuatu.
“Vanuatu is made up of 83 islands and while it’s not possible for travellers to get to all of the islands, by offering an affordable add-on flight, Australians will be encouraged to explore beyond Port Vila,” Ms Morris said.
Tickets must be bought before the 15 November, 2013 with travel falling between the following dates:
- 28 October- 8 December, 2013 or
- 20 January – 30 March, 2013
Discounted flights to Tanna and Santo must be booked in conjunction with an international return flight from Australia.
