Fraser Coast Top Tourist Park Recognized Amongst State's Best

2012 Turnaround Award
The Fraser Coast Top Tourist Park, located in Hervey Bay and owned and operated by Mark and Sharon Frankel has been recognized with a state award at the annual Caravanning Queensland Seminar, held on Thursday 22nd November at the Brisbane Holiday Village.

Mark and Sharon were awarded the coveted Turnaround Award, which recognizes outstanding business performance and quality product improvement associated with the Fraser Coast Top Tourist Park - an extraordinary effort given the recognition comes only 2 years after first taking over the park.

Sharon Frankel said the award topped off an exciting two years for the business, which had seen excellent growth and recognition in a very short time frame.

'We were lucky enough to secure some federal funding last year to allow us to upgrade existing facilities and to also install our new heated therapeutic mineral pool and spa which is a huge selling point for the property' said Mrs. Frankel.

'Our business continues to grow and expand, and the occupancy levels for both our parks have been strong and continue to increase' she added.

'To end 2012 with this state award is hugely satisfying, and we are currently preparing for a bumper Christmas season' Mrs. Frankel said.

The Fraser Coast Top Tourist Park is located 200m from the beach, situated near restaurants, entertainment and shopping facilities and provides fantastic facilities including the therapeutic pool and spa, a camp kitchen featuring a pizza oven, on site assistance, Free Wi - Fi and is a 100% tourist only park.
