Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai Unveils the First Ice Rink in a Hotel in Shanghai

The launch of the new "Kerry Ice" took place on the forecourt of Kerry Parkside on 8 December 2012. Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai is the first hotel in the city to open an outdoor ice rink, which extends the list of "the first things" that the Kerry hotel offers in Shanghai.

"Kerry Ice" is a 200-square-metre ice rink made from synthetic material, which creates a skating experience 90 per cent similar to ice. With food and beverages provided on-site by the culinary team of Kerry Hotel Pudong, "Kerry Ice" is designed to appeal to both children’s fantasies as well as to those with private function and party needs. The ice rink has a capacity of 30 people, and whether the guests are perfecting their triple axel or just learning how to stay on their feet, the ice rink is a perfect venue to spend a few hours.
