Especially on November 1, when Dong Trieu City is officially established, it will continue to open up many development opportunities for local tourism.

One of the highlights of Dong Trieu tourism is Quang Ninh Gate Tourist Area invested by Hoang Ha Group Joint Stock Company. Quang Ninh Gate has an area of ​​over 20 hectares, which has been invested by the enterprise to become a complex of entertainment, recreation, and rich experiences associated with oak wine production, a chain of culinary restaurants and high-class 4-star hotels to serve the accommodation needs of tourists. Quang Ninh Gate is also a pioneer in developing experiential tourism forms in the direction of "Playing while learning, learning while playing", meeting the requirements of current general education, attracting visitors all 4 seasons of the year. With the mindset of making the most of this opportunity, we will continue to improve facilities, add new products, improve service quality... Currently, we are researching and building some experiential products in the evening such as: Night market, walking street, organizing music shows... to implement the night-time economic model according to the local orientation, attract tourists, and extend the length of stay.

Tan Viet Bac Sports and Entertainment Area (188 Joint Stock Company) is also an ideal stop for tourists in the area. On an area of ​​4.2 hectares, the unit develops a variety of services from dining, children's entertainment, golf, swimming pool, multi-purpose house... In addition, the unit focuses on regularly renovating the coffee area space with many types of miniature landscapes, green trees, beautiful fresh flowers to serve the needs of entertainment, enjoyment, and photography of tourists. The unit also organizes music programs weekly/monthly, creating entertainment space for local people and tourists. Along with that, it focuses on developing sightseeing spots, hydroponic vegetable growing experiences to meet the learning, research, and exploration needs of many subjects. Currently, the unit is continuing to implement the orientation of developing a multi-service sports - entertainment - recreation complex to become a stopover for tourists, at the same time, connecting destinations in the town to form closed routes with diverse tourist attractions, promoting the image.

One advantage of the locality is that it owns the Tran Dynasty National Special Relic Complex with 14 very special relic sites, such as: Quynh Lam Pagoda - the birthplace of Buddhism, with a history spanning thousands of years to the present; An Sinh Temple, where the eight emperors of the Tran Dynasty are worshiped; Thai Mieu - the place of worship of the Tran Dynasty royal family; the system of tombs of the Tran Kings. And on the top of Bao Dai Mountain is the sacred Ngoa Van hermitage - pagoda, the final stop in the life of practicing and becoming a Buddha of the Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong... The Tran Dynasty heritages in Dong Trieu have now been included in the dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Relic Complex submitted to UNESCO for recognition as a World Cultural Heritage.

Along with that, Silk Path Golf Course Joint Stock Company is currently accelerating the investment progress of Dong Trieu Golf Course, striving to inaugurate it by the end of this year. Dong Trieu Golf Course officially started construction in October 2021 with an area of ​​130 hectares, with a total investment of 1,200 billion VND. The scale of the project includes a 27-hole golf course according to international golf course criteria, serving about 800 guests/day. Of which, the golf course planning area is nearly 129 hectares, the rest is traffic infrastructure. The golf course will have low-rise accommodation buildings, high-rise hotels, golf courses, green infrastructure, landscapes, entertainment areas, and high-class eco-resort spaces. This will be a new type of tourism in the town to attract domestic and international tourists...

In order for the tourism industry to truly create a driving force for sustainable socio-economic development when the city is established, Dong Trieu will continue to focus on attracting investment to complete the system of accommodation facilities, large-scale entertainment areas, and build tourism products with unique identities associated with the special National Monument in Dong Trieu. At the same time, strengthen state management in the tourism sector; propose mechanisms and policies to promote tourism investment attraction; create an orderly, civilized, safe, and friendly environment.

The locality also built a Dong Trieu tourism brand identity system with a logo and slogan, connecting the Tran Dynasty National Special Relic Site in Dong Trieu with key tourist areas of the province, developing professional tourism human resources, enhancing the application of science and technology in tourism activities, thereby maximizing the advantages to develop sustainable tourism in the young city at the western gateway of the province.
