Hike Alberta's Skoki back-country

This is truly everything you could ever dream of in a summer backcountry hiking adventure. Hidden behind Lake Louise Ski Resort, the Skoki backcountry is normally only accessible by first hiking a nine-kilometre fire road.

Now, White Mountain Adventures is offering exclusive van shuttles to the edge of the ski area boundary, for epic hiking in the pristine wilderness, minus the crowds.

Enjoy a guided hike through untouched forests, along clear mountain creeks and fields of mountain wildflowers, to reach turquoise high alpine lakes nestled among the towering glacier-clad peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

Hikes range from 10 – 14 kilometres return (300 – 400m elevation gain) with hiking poles and an excellent packed lunch provided. Pick-ups and drop offs are offered at all major Banff hotels. All you need is your energy and a sense of adventure!
