After two successful, physical events in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, the season finale OTM Mumbai was gearing up to host top quality buyers, exhibitors and speakers at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. However, according to the fresh restrictions imposed temporarily by the Maharashtra State, gatherings of more than 50 have been disallowed in the city. Therefore, the organisers decided to reschedule the show slated to be organised on 19-21 March, to 28-30 April at the same venue - Bombay Exhibition Centre. The rescheduling is an outcome of factors that are beyond the control of organizers.
While OTM Mumbai is all set to revive and rejuvenate the tourism industry, the organizers understand that the current developments are necessary to comply with the most recent guidelines. However, it is hoped that the restrictions may be lifted soon as the situation comes back under greater control locally, as the health minister of India has recently stated that India is in the endgame of the pandemic and the organisers sincerely believe likewise.
OTM Mumbai strives for excellence, and this year will be no exception. The organizers thank all the travel industry colleagues and friends from the media for their continued expressed support and trust in OTM. The recent circumstances serve as an excellent opportunity to present a bigger, better, safer OTM in April-end.
