A Message to Our Capital Hotel Group Guests Statement Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We know there is community concern about Covid-19, particularly around travelling at this time, and we wanted to reassure you of the measures we are taking to ensure our hotels continue to be a safe place for you stay, whether you are visiting Canberra for business or leisure.

Our priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and team members.

We are closely monitoring the the Covid-19 outbreak and we continue to implement measures to minimise the risk of transmission, to ensure that our hotels, employees and guests remain safe.

It is important that as an organisation we put clear measures in place. 

We are doing everything we can to uphold high standards to maintain a safe environment, with additional cleaning, disinfecting, and providing hand sanitising stations to travellers coming through the hotel.

We are undertaking the following measures to maintain a healthy environment for all.

• We are following the health guidelines provided by the Department of Health
• Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting throughout the hotels
• We have increased our cleaning schedules in all public areas with a particular focus on hand railings, elevators, bathrooms and doors, using suitable disinfectant
• Reinforcement of team personal hygiene, proper hand-washing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitisers
• Increased communication with our partners and government public health agencies.

We want to assure our guests that we are monitoring and acting on current and future government and relevant health authority's advice, and where necessary will keep you up to date with how we are responding.
