Queensland has dominated 2019 global ‘must-do’ lists, with a swag of high-profile publications listing Queensland destinations amongst the world’s best to experience in 2019:

• Queensland was named Top Honeymoon Destination (International) at India’s Wedding Sutra Honeymoon Awards in late 2018.
• ‘Google’s Year in Search’ revealed the Gold Coast and Queensland made the Top 10 Google searches for ‘flights to’.
• Canada’s top online travel agency, Flight Network’s ‘2019 World's Best Beaches’ list featured Whitehaven Beach in the world’s Top 2 beaches to visit.
• Conde Nast Traveler included Brisbane and the Whitsundays in their 19 Places to Visit in 2019. The New Zealand Herald also ranked the Whitsundays amongst their top ‘Five Beautiful Islands To Set Sail To’.
• Travel+Leisure named Brisbane as a hot 2019 city to experience, while Expedia announced that in 2018 Brisbane was one of the fastest growing global destinations for Americans.
