The Rees' Spring Winemaker’s Culinary Series Dinner with Mt Difficulty

The Rees Hotel Queenstown is pleased to announce its latest Spring Winemaker’s Culinary Series Dinner with Mt Difficulty. The dinner will be held in The Rees’ True South Dining Room on Friday the 15th of September 2017 at 7:00pm. A perfect pairing of one of the leading estate vineyards in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago with southern lakes fresh seasonal fare.

Guests can welcome in the new season with Chief winemaker, Matt Dicey, described by Tourism New Zealand as one “passionate person behind the perfect pinot”, while savouring creations by award-winning Executive Chef Ben Batterbury of True South Dining Room.

Mt Difficulty is one of Central Otago’s leading estate vineyards. The region provides New Zealand’s only “continental” style climate combined with exceptional soils ideal for growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.

True South Dining Room serves local produce with fresh, seasonal twists in its mouth-watering monthly menus. Both restaurant and chef have won annual awards and international recognition for culinary excellence and its masterfully curated wine list.
