Bonsai Exhibition

2-3 September

This year’s Bonsai Exhibition had something for everyone and includes a great display and well stocked Market Place with bonsai for sale. The exhibition will also include a build-a-bonsai workshop for the young and young at heart plus a clinic where attendees can bring their own trees for advice and help with improvement and maintenance.

Bella Vista Farm Open Day

Castle Hill Off Road Radio Control Car Club - 2017 NSW State Titles

8-10 September

Castle Hill Radio Controlled Car Club will be hosting the 2017 NSW State Titles for 1/10th electric vehicles. Castle Hill Radio Control Car Club was started in 1985 as “a small track in back of a hobby shop in Castle Hill. A group of people formed a committee and approached Baulkham Hills Council for some land to build a track. It took 12 months and 3 moves before the final location in Fred Caterson Reserve.

Orange Blossom Festival Annual Art Awards

15-17 September

Castle Hill Art Society celebrates their 50th Anniversary in 2017 and has been a major event on the Orange Blossom Festival program since the Festival’s inception with their Annual Art Awards for adults' and children's paintings and sculptures. This exhibition provides a great opportunity to buy original art from local artists.

OBF Preview Theatre Performance - Ladies in Lavender

20 September
Pavilion Theatre - Castle Hill Showground
This fabulous local community theatre group provides Hills residents with real drama and comedy productions in a real raked set theatre. Their Orange Blossom Festival preview performance of "Ladies in Lavender" celebrates their 51st year in the Castle Hill Showground complex. This performance will be held on Wednesday 20 September at 8:15pm. Tickets for the preview cost $15pp.

Norwest Community Festival

The Norwest Community Festival is an annual, free family event with food, rides and live entertainment and is this year being relocated to Bella Vista Farm. The event is sponsored by Mulpha Norwest, the developers of Norwest Business Park, Bella Vista Waters and The Lakes. Irish Fun Day

24 September

On 24th September the Heritage Park Committee we will host an Irish Fun Day from 11 am to 2 pm to celebrate the large number of Irish convicts who worked here and set off the first Australian rebellion on the Castle Hill Government Farm.
