The event is expected to attract about 1,500 amateur, semi-professional and professional athletes worldwide.
It will be divided into two forms: Fun Run and Marathon, corresponding to the distances of 5km, 10km and 42km.
Athletes will have chances to experience both running and exploring the old town through attractive streets.
Aiming to promote tourism in the world heritage city, the competition is open to all, regardless of nationality, gender or age, being professional or amateur.
