TASTE ORANGE @ BARANGAROO

Award-winning vignerons from the cool climate wine region of Orange will soon be pouring their best drops at a spectacular harbourside headland in Sydney.

The inaugural Taste Orange @ Barangaroo wine, food and cultural tourism showcase will be held at Nawi Cove, Barangaroo Reserve on Sunday, 20 November.

Two of Australia’s leading wineries, Philip Shaw Wines and Ross Hill Wines, along with award-winning cider makers Small Acres Cyder, will be present together with an additional eight local wineries. The Visit Orange team will be on-hand to provide potential visitors with tourism information on the Central West NSW region.

Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to explore gourmet food prepared with Indigenous ingredients from Wiradjuri food companies, including Lemon Myrtle Shortbread and Wild Rosella bush tucker biscuits from DreamTimeTuka, and kangaroo sliders and pies from Indigenous Adventures Bush Tucka.

Augmenting the local stallholder experience will be Sydney foodies El-Phoenician, Jimmy Liks, Oysters Unplugged, Serendipity Icecream, and Sofrito Paella, who will all be using produce and ingredients sourced from the Orange region.

Entry to Taste Orange @ Barangaroo is free. Visitors can purchase food and wine tastings at the event, with special pre-purchase tasting packs also available.
