Little National Hotel was awarded winner of the New Tourism Business category at the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards hosted at the National Arboretum Canberra on Friday 11th November.
The annual Canberra Region Tourism Awards provide an opportunity to showcase the best of the region's tourism operators as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. Operators are benchmarked on a local level, and if successful, proceed to compete for their category title on a national stage.
“Being recognised as a market leader within the National Capital in tourism initiatives is a valued accolade,” said Mr. Patrick Lonergan, Director of Hotels.
“Little National Hotel has experienced immense growth over the past financial year, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on Canberra and Doma Hotels at the National Tourism Awards.”
“The process of entering the awards is a worthwhile exercise, and allows for a full review of business development and success over the previous year”, said Mr. Lonergan.
“The award symbolises the work we have done to increase the value of what we provide to our guests, industry and greater Canberra tourism community.”
“We've invested a lot into Little National Hotel and are pleased that our work is being recognised,” continued Mr. Lonergan.
“This new tourism venture was conceived for the business, conference and leisure visitor, which we, at Doma Hotels and Little National Hotel, consider to all travellers who demand smart luxury and high amenity in a super-prime location.” said Mr. Lonergan.
Little National Hotel will compete against state and territory winners at the National Tourism Awards, held next year in Darwin.
